Set on the beautiful beachfront in the heart of Holetown, St James, The Beach House is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The Beach House prides itself on “great food, great ambience and a great view”. The tables are set on a raised rustic wooden platform that overlooks the sea and the décor is simple so as not to detract from the magnificent view.
At lunchtime you can indulge in their quick and easy Caribbean lunch buffet which features popular West Indian dishes; it’s a great way to experience local cuisine. Alternatively, their a la carte menu has a great selection of light bites or more substantial fare. In the evening, the atmosphere at the Beach House is one of romance as you dine by candlelight and listen to the sound of the sea lapping at the shore. The evening menu is described as local cuisine combined with flavours of the Mediterranean and is diverse enough for all tastes.

Not really a house
Located in Holetown, i would recommend this place during the day. A great place to stop off for a bite to eat, plus they have a great lunch time buffet that locals often frequent on a daily basis.
If i am not mistaken that also have a live Jazz band on Friday nights, I did not have the opportunity to see them but I have heard great things.
The beautiful thing about Beach House is that it is right on the water, you can have a good meal under the protection of the canopy and get lost in the view of the ocean. A great place if you are travelling by yourself.

Beach House Rocks
Not only is this fabulous in ambiance but the food reminds you of why you booked a vacation in the first place. Recommended dishes in my humble opinion include mushroom crepes, flying fish pate and cajun tilapia so fresh it’s still angry !

Get a seaside table so you can enjoy an unimpeded view...
I went to The Beach House for dinner in late 2008 and would highly recommend a visit. By night, you dine by candlelight and can enjoy the relaxing sound of gentle waves breaking on the sand which is my idea of heaven! If you can, get a seaside table so you can enjoy an unimpeded view of the Caribbean Sea. It’s not cheap but the prices aren’t ridiculous and the atmosphere is simply wonderful. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and took great care of us which made the evening all the more special.
If you’re not able to go for dinner, I’d highly recommend dropping into The Beach House to have a sundowner………there’s nothing quite like watching a sunset whilst enjoying a delicious cocktail!
