Rest your feet and grab a quick bite to eat

Waterfront Café is located right in the heart of Bridgetown and can get pretty busy during the day, especially when cruise ships are in town. I tried one of their sandwiches and juices while Guv was taking his photos…it was cool to sit on the boardwalk and watch the town. I saw some of the private catamarans getting ready to set sail for the day with guests, all from the boardwalk where Waterfront Café has set up a few chairs. It’s a simple place, a good option if you want to rest your feet and grab a quick bite to eat before exploring the rest of Bridgetown.

Nice place in Bridgetown

What I like most about this place is that it is out of the hustle ad bustle of Bridgetown. Located just on the outskirts of the downtown core it provides a little peace and quite to figure out the next maneuver.

The food is okay nothing to write home to mom about, they also have evenings full of music and buffet dinners. I don’t remember the exact nights for the buffet but there is basically a band almost every night.

In the evenings, go for the food and the music.

The Waterfront Café is popular with Bajans and tourists. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always wonderful at this lively little restaurant. I’ve been to the restaurant countless times with family and friends. It’s always a popular lunch destination after a spot of shopping on Broad Street; the atmosphere is unlike any other. Bridgetown is a lively little capital city and the restaurant seems to feed off of its energy. In the evenings, go for the food and the music. There are performers every night, all very different but enjoyable and entertaining.

If you’re in town then make sure you stop in at the Waterfront Café. If anything, go for a quick drink and an appetiser to stave off your hunger and watch the world go by.

The building which houses the Waterfront Cafe was once a busy warehouse, it’s now a busy restaurant!
