El Nativo
(Playa Del Carmen - Restaurants) Holy litre smoothies!The restaurant we originally wanted to go to was closed for another half hour so we went across the street to El Nativo. Wow so I had a 1 litre yogurt smoothie for 30 pesos! I was full off that alone. I also had the vegetarian sandwich. It was good however i prefer the vegetarian sandwich at DAC across the street. i noticed many local ate at El Nativo so you know the value and price is good. I ate lunch for about $8 usd. La Cueva del Chango
(Playa Del Carmen - Restaurants) Serene AtmosphereI really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant. There is a small stream going through the middle and many beautiful trees and plants around. I sat down and read a book while listening to the birds…or bats, whatever they were it was nice! i ordered a yogi tea, which was really tasty for 30 pesos. The service was excellent, checking up on me every 10-15 min. i would definitely return. TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService

(Playa Del Carmen - Nightlife) Cool SpotI went to this beach club maybe twice just to hang out on the beach. I did not end up ordering anything to eat so I can’t comment on the food, but it seems like a cool place. It was pretty busy when I went, however not as busy as other parts of the beach, which i liked. I like how they had music playing and i like the design of the place. The only thing I did not like was all the boats around. I don’t like the smell of gasoline while I’m swimming and it was annoying to watch out for some ropes in the water that the boats were tied to anchored on the beach. Luna Maya Condos
(Playa Del Carmen - Accommodations) A Week StayBack in January I stayed at Jazz’s place in one of the Luna Maya condos. I was pretty impressed when I walked in. Open concept kitchen, new appliances, big leather sectional couch, balcony and two bedrooms each with their own bathroom with a shower included! I did like how the condo was away from the excess noise yet walking distance to the beach and 5th Avenue strip where the action is. I really enjoyed the pool area as well, which is very serene. There is a big palapa with water surrounding it and best part is wifi. I would definately recommend Luna Maya Condos. CleanlinessRoomsAmenitiesValueService
