I have been going to Rouge for quite a long time now and still feel the excitment each time I walk in the door. Rouge, which is located on the Main (st Laurent) is one of those bars where no matter what music you listen to you are sure to hear a favorite song of yours. You can always expect to hear the claissic Daft Punk, top 40 and a little rock in there as well.
I will have to agree with everyone else. The place really packs in the people, it takes 15 mins to walk from one side to the bar to the other. People are always hitting you and it takes forever to get a drink….so If I were you I think I would take my chances at any other bar on St Laurent, in one night you can easily make your way to quite a few, follow the skirts…lol

Hello again my fellow pure partiers. The BurgondyLion is one of my “hang out “ bars. Every night of the week you can expect the place to be busy with a variety of ages and people to satisfy any taste. I have spent a couple long nights at the Bar. The people start to flow in right after work on a Friday night and by midnight you feel as if you had already left and gone somewhere else. There are women and men of all ages and they are all ready to start up a conversation with you, as long as you are nice! The bartenders are generous with the alochol which is always something that I look for in a bar and a bartender. For any traveller looking for something to do on a random night when nothing else seems to be going on I would recommend checking out the Lion! Watch out for the Roar!

There are so many things to say about this high class resturant. the Steak, service and quality is all number 1.
If it is your first time in Montreal and you do not have a budget I would recommend checking this restuarant out. Although the prices can range easily into the 4 digit area it will be a night that you will never forget. Its very romantic and anything and everything you have ever wanted is there for the taking! So save some money and take that speical someone out for a nice meal….you will be thanking me later…trust me guys!

The Jazz Fest, an amazing time to come visit Montreal, the city is full of life and excitement when it comes to town. The streets are full until the late hours, we become the city that never sleeps. It is an amazing thing to live in such a VIbrant city and trust me if your vacation falls in between the 2 weeks of the Jazz Fest I would suggest going and checking it out. YOu can spend the entire day watching free shows of Artist who truly enjoy playing. They dont do it for the money, but for the pure enjoyment of entertaining others. Rain or Shine people sit, stand and watch preformances that vary from Jazz, classical, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop and many others gendres….drinking in the streets has never been better!

Titanic, what great things I can say about this place. While I was working in Old Montreal, this little restaurant was the place to go. The food, style and service was always classy and a Not To Miss while walking around Old Montreal on a nice day. The Sandwhiches were very big, decenlty prices and always top quality. I think everyone who steps into this little trendy place will enjoy the atmosphere and the smile that you will get once you get your hands on one of those juicy chicken Sandwhiches!

Hello Everyone, and welcome back to another review by your one and only Montreal Pure Party! The W, as you can see by the reviews above is a pretty trendy place in Montreal. It is one of those places where the “be seen” crowd tends to go for a nice cocktail and some good tunes. The bar is situated in Old Montreal, which has become the new Hot Spot for all Montreal Night life. The W Wunder Bar is the one place that has been around for a long time and will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
If you are coming to Montreal and have a very High budget of spending money and of course like to “Pure Party” you will find the elite of Montrealers here aged 25 and up. It is a place where women come to play and men come to hunt…not that I know anything about that of course!
No need to get there too early unless its a Wednesday night!

Yes, another review from yours truly. I have a lot to say about Santos. My frist time going there was with a good friend of mine, it was a Thursday night and at the time we did not know any of the people working there. It ended up being one of the best night I have had at a lounge bar in a very long time. The music was amazing, the people were amazing and the staff was great.
The bar closed at 3am but we were there way past 4:30am having drinks with the staff. This is the kind of place where everyone knows your name. Its a Cheers type bar, but very trendy, everyone loves to see you and makes you feel at home.
I would recommend this to everyone visiting Montreal, and if you are living here, please go check it out, during the week is a pretty chill crowd and people are very open!

I have been to the Newtown Club a few times in the past couple of years and to be honest with you it never changes. It is always filled with the same type of people and no one is really that friendly. All the bars on Cresent street have a very tourist vibe so if you really want to experience Montreal I would suggest going elsewhere. However, the bartenders at this place are smokin hot! you pay for what you get as the drinks are about $10 each and are really not worth the wait.
But if there is nothing else available on the block and you want to see if you can meet some English travelers from the USA or anywhere for that matter I would suggest Newtown.

Last night was my first night to the Edgar Hypertaverne, and I have to admit I was pretty impressed. The music was good, if you like a little house and top 40 hip hop and the people were beautiful. The vibe was there and it was not too packed which is a major plus as you know you can actually move around. It was a little too hot which kind of made it a sweaty night but I guess that is better than being cold right!

There is one thing I can say about Montreal and about every Bar on Mount Royal Street is that you have to bring out your french skills. I think my friends and I were the only ones who spoke english! So for all you travellers out there coming to experience a great taverne bar, good music take some french classes first!
