My Reviews5-7 Special! This is a favorite 5-7 happy hour spot for our office because of the 50% off bottles of wine special. The wine list is extensive and the knowledgeable staff is quick to suggest something if you are unsure. TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService

2 Reasons Why I Love/ Loved Cavalli1. The miso marinated chilean sea bass – no knife required, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness! Cavalli has a chic vibe and is usually full of beautiful Montrealers. The house music is often too loud for dinner conversation but it is a fun place for an evening out, possibly leading later into the night… TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService

CommentsGreat Location and ServiceThe Sofitel’s location on Montreal’s Golden Mile is perfect for any business traveller or luxury shopper. The rooms are small but comfortable and functional. The staff are fabulous and the food is great. This hotel is great for corporate meetings. I have always enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel and I have yet to hear a complaint from groups we have brought there. Travelling NHL teams stay here too; my jaw dropped when the Penguins walked through the lobby in their suits…HOT…and it was pre-game so no hockey smell! CleanlinessRoomsAmenitiesValueService

CommentsChic and SimpleI have stayed at the St. Paul twice and both times I was not disappointed. Best memories at the St. Paul include playing cards at the table in the Deluxe Suite listening to Christmas Carols, taking a long bath in the huge tub (room for 2), or jumping on the bed in the colourful Superior Room and still not being able to touch the ceiling! The breakfast is included in the room rate and it is delicous. Go for the cheese and fresh fruit with your croissant and fresh coffee. The St. Paul is located near everything in Old Montreal and it is also very close to the Square Victoria Metro making it easy to access the city. There are also several Bixi bike stations around the hotel. If you are not staying at the hotel, drop in to see the gorgeous fireplace in the lobby and stay for a drink at Vauvert – especially on a Thursday night after work. It is often packed with gorgeous, well-dressed yuppies. CleanlinessRoomsAmenitiesValueService

CommentsI love the hotels location too, close to a few great restaurants in Old Montreal. Obviously a must for any island visitorAbsolutely one of the BEST cheeseburgers you can get anywhere. If the “All-you-can-drink” doesn’t bring you into Harbour Lights, then you need to go for the burger. SexinessAtmosphereExcitementValueService

CommentsTasty Sandwiches and Chocolate Cake to Die For!I consider myself lucky to work in Old Montreal where I am able to have fabulous lunches at places like Titanic. Sandwichs at the store are $9.95 each and could easily feed two for a light lunch. My favorites are the Cubano which is marinated roast pork or the brie and tomato with pesto. Others rave about the chicken sandwich. There is always great coffee and little desserts if you have a sweet tooth (the petit pot de chocolate is unbelievable). TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService

CommentsI love their cakes too!! Addictive!I work in an office with 20 women that is located diagonally across from Olive and it is absolutely a hot lunch spot for us. We ooohhh and aaaahhh daily about the freshly made vegetarian soups, fried bread, sandwiches, and of course the coffee. It is expensive but so worth it when you are in the mood for a great lunch. Absolute must tries are the vegetarian chili with cornbread and the chocolate banana brioche – it’s HUGE and melts in your mouth! We often pick up croissants, brownies, lemon squares and my favorite – butter pecan squares for a mid-afternoon office indulgement! Olive is a real treat and we miss it when it is closed on Monday’s – forcing us to find our coffee elsewhere. TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService

CommentsA Montreal InstitutionI love this place! I am lucky enough to live around the corner and I take advantage of it so much that I take every visitor out there for a true taste of Montréal. I love that we sit cramped up at a narrow table, rubbing elbows with random people and trying to eat a massive smoked meat sandwich while the juices run down our hands. Once we’ve filled our bellies, we push past the boisterous staff over the smelly carpet to pay at the tiny cash at the back before stumbling back out onto the main in search of another Montreal adventure. CommentsGreat Location in Old MontrealI found the hallways of this hotel to be dark, stuffy and tired; the red carpets with gold “fleurs de lys” were tacky but the suites were bright, chic and spacious. As equipped as a furnished apartment, I can see why many choose the Sulpice for longer stays. I think the best part of the hotel is the summer garden terrace. It is peaceful and private but also a great spot for a social drink. CleanlinessRoomsAmenitiesValueService

CommentsSexy SplurgeI enjoyed splurging at the Q. It has a ritzy, sexy feel that makes you want to sip a shaken-but-not-stirred martini, suck on fresh oysters, eat a large piece of steak, sit back satisfied and smoke a cigar. This is a place where a man can be a man and a girl can be in his playground for a night. It feels like a sexed up Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse with Montreal flare. I LOVED the Three Mignon Sampler and even though Le Moilleux molten lava cake was $15, we had to stop caring about price at that point and let the ice wine push us to try it. Outstanding. Service was fabulous. TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService

CommentsIt's the Little Things That CountThis restaurant is appealing to me because it is tough to find, making it seem like a secret hideaway. I think that Pintxo’s small size makes it intimate and romantic. It felt like I was invited into a friend’s home for a dinner party. I was ultimately disappointed with the duck breast. Next time I will stick to the Pintxo’s which is what Pintxo Restaurant does best. TasteCreativityAtmosphereValueService
