Café Dominion is Dompark’s newest gastronomic experience, serving fresh, homemade fare in a relaxed environment. Located in the industrial part of St. Henri, Dompark has undergone a major transformation by attracting a newer bread of companies such as Luxury Retreats International and Burton. The need for an upscale café became apparent very quickly and Café Dominion was Domparks’ answer. Head Chef Shawn Jackson along with the restaurants manager Jacques Poulin, invite you to try Café Dominion whether it be in person or take out service.
What We Offer - Start your morning with pastries, smoothies, omelettes and more, all made to order.
Weekly lunch menu featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients – inspired sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, pastas and hot dishes.
Order your breakfast or lunch to go or dine-in. Take-out dinners also available.
Gourmet coffee bar with all organic, fair trade coffee and beans imported and roasted right here in Montreal. Espresso, lattes and cappuccino.

Great team, cool loft setting
Café Dominion is currently managed by my father and owned by my brother and head chef Shawn Jackson. What started off as being a simple kitchen for the Luxury Retreats team has now grown to become the go to restaurant in this part of Montreal. The St. Henri region is quickly becoming the new “plateau” of Montreal with beautiful waterfront lofts being built. Café Dominion is well positioned to serve employees of all local businesses but is currently a challenge to get too for walk in clients.
The team at CD is great. I’ve tasted some of Chef Shawn’s take out dinners and for what we pay, it’s excellent value for quality food. CD also does corporate events, ideal for companies that want a trendy loft type environment with good food at again, a fair price. Come see the team and say hi to my Dad :)

A Culinary Treat
If you don’t work in the building or have friends who do, it is unlikely you have yet to hear about Cafe Dominion. But you will…and here’s why.
Shawn ‘‘Chicken’‘ Jackson, Head Chef, is a great friend of mine. He never ceases to surprise and delight with his creative and economically-friendly servings – and I always leave feeling satisfied. From soups, to salads, to vegetarian meals, and choice meat dishes there is nothing this restaurant cannot turn out. Few know that Shawn is professionally trained, but I believe it is his history of having gone through the ‘‘trenches’‘ of the restaurant biz that makes his approach unique and at the same time wildly appealing. He appreciates that no two palates are alike, and this is evidenced by his ever-growing repertoire of dishes and constantly fresh menu.
The location itself also caters well to private functions and special events with three tier seating and a fantastic laid back atmosphere. I’m fortunate enough to have a brother and some buddies who work in conjoining offices and I visit quite often. For whatever reason, my visits almost always coincide with an empty stomach that needs filling.
Stop in here if you have the chance. You will not regret it.
Unless you have taken care to organize a private function, your visit will have to take place during the day. Because of the office-centric location, they are not open during the evening or on weekends.
