Glowing Pink Bar
I went to Cavalli for the first time a few weeks ago for a work event… I had been looking forward to it since everyone has great reviews about their food, atmosphere ect.
I was quite disappointed (maybe my expectations were too high?!). The service was not up to par, our waiter didn’t ask us how we wanted our filet mignon cooked and everyone at my table ended up with either over-cooked or rare… Although the salad was great and so was their cavatelli pasta. We had the second floor to ourselves which was great for cocktails since we had the bar to ourselves. I don’t know if i would go back, i think there are better restaurants in Montreal to try out. Decor is elegant with hues of pink behind the bar, i might just have to try their 5 a 7…

2 Reasons Why I Love/ Loved Cavalli
1. The miso marinated chilean sea bass – no knife required, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness!
2. Thursday Night Happy Hour – $20 all you can drink from 5-7pm for women AND MEN! I am pretty disappointed that this special is now over. Keep checking back on their website under the Events section for future deals.
Cavalli has a chic vibe and is usually full of beautiful Montrealers. The house music is often too loud for dinner conversation but it is a fun place for an evening out, possibly leading later into the night…
