Located in the heart for Little Burgundy, steps away from the Atwater Market, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, you will find Joe Beef, a charming 28-seat restaurant. The quaint eatery is distinctive from the moment you walk in. The lighting is dim, décor is simple and cozy, but there is also a feel of trendiness at the same time. The market cuisine menu is written on a huge chalkboard on the wall and changes daily. It features deliciously unique meals, such as a lobster and white asparagus salad sprinkled with roasted pine nuts; lobster spaghetti; a variety of fresh seafood; and classics like steak frites or spaghetti with a jumbo meat ball. If you want a real treat, grab one of their Caesar cocktails (make sure you bring along an extra $16 for it) – served with an oyster and a jumbo shrimp. The menu ranges on the pricier side although there is a good selection of mains that are under $30.00. Joe Beef should not be omitted from any traveler’s ‘to-do’ list!
