For all the food connoisseurs out there, do I have a treat for you! La Vieille Cheminée offers home made Italian cuisine that you've never tried before. This little restaurant right in the heart of St-Leonard is well known for their traditional wood oven pizza. When I'm in the mood for some delicious Italian food I make sure that the first place I think of without hesitation is this quaint, out of the way restaurant that feels quite like home to me. Living in an Italian household myself, I am used to what most Italians come to know as "Nonna's cooking" and yet nothing can ever compare! well, this exquisite restaurant offers just as much for a very affordable price! I've tried most of their menu and each dish was made to perfection and truly captured the essence of what Italian cooking should be like. The lovely terrace attached to the restaurant gives a true meaning to eating in style, reminiscent of a bistro or cafe oriented feeling of traveling abroad. Wether you're going out for a romantic dinner for two or have a large family reunion, La Cheminée is a perfect place to spend time with loved ones. I would highly recommend their gnocchi dish and of course their seafood pizza, the best I've ever had! (but please, don't tell your nonna that!) so try it for yourself, and you will not be disappointed!
