Montreal Olympic Stadium created for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, this amazing and controversial building's tower (from which the roof is suspended) is the world's tallest leaning structure. You can take a cable car to the top of the Montreal Tower for an incredible view of the city. Commissioned by Montreal’s Mayor Jean Drapeau and designed by French architect Roger Taillibert, this vast concrete sculpture comprises 12,000 pre-fabricated pieces, most of which weigh several tons. Approximately 71,500 cubic metres of concrete were poured for these pieces, and 1,000 kilometres of post-tensioning cable were used.
