Di Vino is located right in the heart of the action on 5th and 12th. This Italian restaurant is part of the Vinopolis group which owns other well known restaurants in Playa Del Carmen. Di Vino opens up to the street, great for people watching while enjoying a good Cabernet. Start your evening here and walk down 12th for an after dinner drink…..maybe some dancing too.

First comment about this restaurant…LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. You couldn’t be wining and dining in a more prime location for Playa’s hip and trendy nightlife. Usually, the corner of 12th and 5th avenue is the meeting point for friends just before they head out to dine or party. This is a great restaurant for people watching, whether it be the Playa’s “anything goes” fashion show of eccentrically dressed women and men, or for strolling mariachis looking to play a song for diners on the corner.
In addition to the location, the food is definitely worth commenting on…from delicious soups and salads, to mouth watering beef carpaccio and fresh fish, your taste buds definitely won’t be comprised from from succulent dining!
The service is pretty good except when they’re busting at the seams with clients during New Year’s or Semana Santa (holy week – which happens to be just as busy as New Year’s)
