The Fusion Hotel is popular with both tourists and locals. Our cheeseburger is often referred to as the 'best burger in Playa.' After dark, our beachside bar turns into a romantic beach lounge lit by rustic oil lanterns. To complete the mood, you will find live music that's easy on the ears as you relax by the sea. It is without a doubt one of the most romantic settings in Playa del Carmen.

One of the best beach lounges in Playa Del Carmen
Fusion is located on the more “touristy” side of Playa Del Carmen but make no mistake, this is one of the best places to grab a drink in the evening. I love the low, wooden beach chairs and dim lighting in the evening. If I had to choose a casual beach bar / restaurant to bring a lady too, I think Fusion would top my list.
The restaurant / bar / hotel will often have live bands, dancers, fun entertainment that’s not so loud you can’t hear yourself think. I once made the mistake of choosing the table closest to the water not realizing that as the sun sets the waves creep up on you…..forcing a retreat.
I tried their cerviche which was good and they do offer some nice red wines by the glass. The ladies working here all seem pretty cute which is of course an added bonus :) Then again that’s how it is in Playa, cute girls serving you ice cold beers while chillin on a beautiful beach……way better then being in Montreal during this time of the year!

Love It
Fusion is fab. I’ve always loved the food and the beach — especially at sunset. Great place to take my out-of -town guests. Only drawback is they stopped letting me bring my dogs…

One of the best
By far this is one of the best experiences in Playa del Carmen. Come in the evening and enjoy the live fire show while you eat delicious seafood beach side. With live music, great lighting and cool vibes this spot will certainly entertain.

My second home
Since 2004 I have beed visiting the beach, the bar and the cusine of Fusion. Having gone in kayaks to fish Lizeta or Pargos with the crew. The place changed for well in 2006 when Liby arrived and complete re decoration. LOL.
My favorite band is Taxi Driver (or something) and Agua Mala, lots of reggea music lately but rock and jazz duet is great also, plus belly dancer but my favourite is the sunrise in the water fishing or swimming.
Lots of celebrations, a place to celebrate!
