Anacaona
Grace Bay Club | $$$ | Website
he only gourmet ocean front restaurant on Providenciales, Anacaona is the resort's signature open-air restaurant. The ambiance of this adult-only 130-seat restaurant reflects the native heritage that inspired its name. Anacaona is a Lucayan Indian word meaning "Flower of Gold". Tables are tiered under delightful circular, open-air palapas – conical, thatched palm roofs supported on dramatic Roman columns. Mingling with the tables are beach foliage in seaside “pods”.
Anacaona serves fine Euro-Caribbean cuisine. Locally caught fish, conch, and lobster are specialties. Veal and lamb dishes are regularly listed on the menu along with dishes of the day. Our extensive wine list offers American and French selections.
The restaurant’s handmade woven furnishings, light airy fabrics, cushions, and specially designed lighting fixtures add a unique and romantic ambiance to the entire restaurant.
